Waste Management Phoenix Open DFS: Tournament Pick Em'
------------------------------------------------------------
Group A: McIlroy / Thomas / Rahm / Simpson / Matsuyama / Schauffele
While Matsuyama and Simpson have had more success at this golf course, newbie to this event Rory McIlroy is just playing too well not to take him after two quality starts in a row.
Group B: Kuchar / Spieth / Koepka / Day / Fowler / Woodland
This is a tough group as a lot of these guys are former Group A players that are struggling, but Rickie Fowler has had a ton of success at TPC Scottsdale and that gives him the edge over the rest for us.
Group C: Homa / Scheffler / Wolff / Redman / Berger / Todd
Given Max Homa's success in the desert of Palm Springs just two weeks ago, we're going to ride him at a fairly similar golf course this week in the desert of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Group D: Im / Oosthuizen / Schwartzel / Conners / Kim / Sabbatini
While fan favorite Louis Oosthuizen is probably the best player in the bunch here, we're going ride the hot hand with Si Woo Kim after his win in the desert at the American Express.
Group E: Hoffman / Watson / Moore / Cink / Horschel / Glover
Bubba Watson is a horses for courses type of player and he's had some success at this event in the past. He may not be the safest pick in the bunch, but of these six he's definitely the best chance of them all for a high finish.
Group F: Harrington / Johnson / Kelly / Perez / Stricker / Dufner
Picking a player here who makes the cut will create a ton of separation from the field as many of these guys are destined to miss the cut, and so we're going to ride the steady putter that is Steve Stricker as we believe if he can make the cut at Torrey Pines he can certainly do the same here.
Forelinx DFS: Parlay of the Week
----------------------------------------------------
Leg One: Rory McIlroy (-135) OVER Justin Thomas (+105)
Rory McIlroy is just too good of a player to be only -135 against anyone...even Justin Thomas.
Leg Two: Jon Rahm (-140) OVER Xander Schauffele (+110)
This is a really tough call, but the price is just decent enough to take local favorite Jon Rahm.
Leg Three: Webb Simpson (-125) OVER Hideki Matsuyama (+100)
While both players have won here, Hideki is just too inconsistent for us to be willing to take him over Webb Simpson.
