Valero Texas Open: Tournament Pick Em'
------------------------------------------------------------
Group A: Fowler / Finau / Johnson* / Matsuyama / Spieth / Woodland
While Jordan Spieth is appealing given his success at this event, we're going to go with a hotter hand in Tony Finau.
Note: Dustin Johnson has opted to withdraw from the tournament this week to prepare for next week's Masters Tournament.
Group B: Ancer / Kuchar / Snedeker / Moore / Bradley / Villegas
While Matt Kuchar has been ice cold generally as of late, we're going to ride his semi-hot hand in the wake of his third-place finish at last week's WGC Dell Technologies Match Play Championship.
Group C: McDowell / Stenson / Harrington / Donald / Willett / Wiesberger
The classic European Ryder Cup group is missing some of the usual mainstays. We're going to go with Bernd Wiesberger as he is quietly having a pretty consistent year with just a single missed cut.
Group D: Glover / Dufner / Hoffman / Holmes / Howell III / Perez
This group is filled with players passed their prime, but Charley Hoffman has had a couple of good weeks at the Players Championship and the Puntacana Championship.
Group E: Scheffler / Redman / Ghim / Bhatia / Champ / Hagy
Scottie Scheffler might be a liability for a let down week after a strong finish at the WGC Match Play, but he's still the best player in this group by a long way.
Group F: Furyk / Love III / Mickelson / Johnson / O'Hair / Schwartzel
While Jim Furyk is probably the safest choice in this group, we're going to go with Phil Mickelson as he possesses the most upside. Punters beware as he's definitely a liability to miss the cut, but we think he's going to get his game into shape heading into Augusta.
Forelinx DFS: Parlay of the Week
----------------------------------------------------
Leg One: Scottie Scheffler (-125) OVER Matt Kuchar (-105)
While we are concerned about fatigue with Scottie Scheffler, he's still been playing better golf more frequently and more recently than Matt Kuchar.
Leg Two: Doc Redman (-110) OVER Cameron Champ (-120)
While Cameron Champ does have the length, it seems like Doc Redman's game is a little bit more polished.
Leg Three: Zach Johnson (-145) OVER Davis Love III (+110)
This price is brutal for Zach Johnson at this stage in his career, but we think he's a lock to beat DL3.
