Palmetto Championship: Tournament Pick Em'

Group A: Fleetwood / Fitzpatrick / Johnson / Koepka / Hatton / Im
While DJ and Koepka are probably the favorites in this group, we're going to take a detour here and go with a steadier hand in the form of Matthew Fitzpatrick. The two big guns in this group have simply been too inconsistent lately.
Group B: Snedeker / Poulter / Glover / Willett / Harrington / Kisner
Given the firm and fast conditions (plus some decent play of late), we think that the chipping and putting of Ian Poulter should serve him in good stead this week.
Group C: Byrd / Barnes / Donald / Baddeley / Mahan / O'Hair
Like everyone in this group, Sean O' Hair is a blast from the past but he's made enough of his limited PGA TOUR starts lately such that we feel he merits a pick over this crop of total has-beens.
Group D: Vegas / Cabrera-Bello / Lee / Sabbatini / Villegas / Varner III
While he's a little bit past his prime, we're going to make a sentimental choice of Camilo Villegas as the "Spiderman" has managed a fair number of quality starts this season and the tragic loss of his daughter makes him easy to root
Group E: Hammer / Hossler / List / Redman / Uihlein / Straka
Cole Hammer is just getting his career started, but the standout amateur has unlimited potential and so we're going to take a bit of a flyer with him here in a group of fellow young guns.
Group F: English / Haas / Perez / Holmes / Dufner / Watney
There are a lot of PGA TOUR starts in this group, but Harris English is the player here whose best golf has been seen most recently. Too many of the other players in this group (Perez, Holmes, Dufner, Watney) have not shown their best game in some time.

Leg One: Brooks Koepka (-125) OVER Dustin Johnson (-105)
This pick would have been unthinkable a few months ago, but something is definitely up with DJ and so we're going to chance a pick on the bad knee of Brooks Koepka.
Leg Two: Tommy Fleetwood (-135) OVER Tyrrell Hatton (EVEN)
This is a tough call because the price is a little rich for Tommy Fleetwood, but it has been a good long while since we've seen the Tyrrell Hatton we became accustomed to pre-COVID.
Leg Three: Matt Fitzpatrick (-125) OVER Sungjae Im (-105)
This is something of a tough call, but we think that Matt Fitzpatrick deserves to be a little bit more of a favorite here and so we're going to take him at what we believe to be a fair price.
