Rocket Mortgage Classic: Tournament Pick Em'

------------------------------------------------------------

Group A: Dechambeau / Fowler / Reed / Simpson / Matsuyama / Woodland

Given the way he dominated this golf course last year, we're hard pressed not to pick the defending champion Bryson Dechambeau.

Group B: Mickelson / Snedeker / Day / Watson / Wolff / Bradley

It's tough to decipher whether last week's solid result at the Travelers Championship is a sign of a return to his better days or just a blip of positivity in an otherwise fading career, but we're going to bet on the former and pick Jason Day from this group.

Group C: Im / Hughes / Kim / Villegas / Willett / Niemann

This is a really tough group as nobody here has shown much consistency, but we're going to go with Joaquin Niemann as we think he's probably the player in this group that is the closest to the best version of himself.

Group D: Champ / Homa / McNealy / Redman / Rodgers / Zalatoris

It's been a fairytale year for Will Zalatoris between his engagement, his runner-up finish in the Masters Tournament and his top-ten finish at the PGA Championship. We think the good times will continue to roll for him this week.

Group E: Glover / Hoffman / Perez / Kisner / Howell III / Dufner

Charley Hoffman has had something of a resurgent year in 2021 and we think he's a sizable favorite over this group of journeymen players who are largely past their prime.

Group F: Baddeley / Donald / Holmes / Mahan / O'Hair / Stadler

Speaking of past their prime, that could easily describe pretty much everyone in this group. Luke Donald had a couple of decent performances at the Palmetto Championship and the AT&T Byron Nelson a few weeks back, so he gets our nod among these has-beens.

Forelinx DFS: Parlay of the Week

----------------------------------------------------

Leg One: Bryson Dechambeau (-145) OVER Hideki Matsuyama (+110)

It's tempting to take the good price on the Masters Champion, but Hideki has shown too much inconsistency for our tastes since Augusta and Bryson Dechambeau absolutely blitzed this golf course in this event last year.

Leg Two: Rickie Fowler (-120) OVER Gary Woodland (-110)

We're definitely worried about Rocket Mortgage's flagship ambassador having too much on his plate this week, but Rickie Fowler has started showing signs of getting his game back and Gary Woodland has been a model of inconsistency this year.

Leg Three: Patrick Reed (-125) OVER Webb Simpson (-105)

Webb Simpson has been tough to figure out this year as he's played infrequently and inconsistently. Patrick Reed has missed a cut or two since the Masters Tournament, but otherwise has been a top-25 machine with plenty of top-10s in there as well.
