Masters Tournament: Pick Em' Pool Selections
------------------------------------------------------------
Group A: Johnson / Thomas / Rahm / DeChambeau / McIlroy / Schauffele
It's tough not to pick defending champion Dustin Johnson, but in the wake of the clinic that Justin Thomas put on at TPC Sawgrass en route to victory that Sunday we think he's ready to contend at Augusta.
Group B: Morikawa / Simpson / Cantlay / Reed / Finau / Spieth
We know it's the trendy pick, but Jordan Spieth marries great form (he won at the Valero Texas Open last week) with a great history at this golf course (2nd-1st-2nd from 2014-2016)
Group C: Hovland / Scheffler / Berger / Wolff / Ancer / Smith
A firm and fast golf course should suit the fairways and greens style of a maturing Viktor Hovland.
Group D: Casey / Westwood / Rose / Lowry / Garcia / Poulter
It's undoubtedly a surprise at his age, but this has been a resurgent winter and spring for Lee Westwood and he's as experienced as anyone around Augusta National.
Group E: Hatton / Fitzpatrick / Scott / Fleetwood / Day / Matsuyama
Adam Scott hasn't played particularly exemplary golf this year, but he's a reliable cut maker and his high ball flight will serve him in good stead should we see the firm and fast Augusta National that many are predicting.
Group F: Mickelson / Singh / Couples / Langer / Schwartzel / Johnson
This group of past champions will take on additional importance this week with so many likely to miss the cut. While Bernhard Langer could make the cut if Augusta plays firm, we'll opt for Phil Mickelson given the length he still possesses into his senior years.
